The archive now contains TWO plugins, WP-Live-Chat-Adult, and WP-Live-Chat-Freenode. You may only activate ONE of these plugins at a time. Activating BOTH will crash your wordpress. They use the same variables and functions.
== Installation ==
To install a chat room in your blog, simply upload the plugin you need (Adult or Freenode) to your plugins directory and activate it in the plugins menu, as is normal for all plugins.

Enter the chat room code in your post or page to generate the chat button.
==Usage==
You must create or edit a Page or Post in your blog to add the chat button code.
Button Code String Must be in [ ] square brackets.
[ livechat : *roomname* : skin :*skin*: image : *image_url* : close ]
(no spaces)
There are three author selectable options.
option livechat:*roomname*:
Can be any IRC compatable channel name without the leading ‘#’
for instance #Help roomname would simply be listed as [ livechat : Help : or
the #SexyTeens room name would be listed as [ livechat : SexyTeens :
IRC Channel Name Special Characters such as !~`^+ should not be used.
option skin:*skin*
There are a range of skins available to customize the look of the chat room to match your site, selecting a skin other than any on the below list will revert to the default skin
skin:default skin:mirc skin:dark skin:dutch skin:german skin:gothic skin:norwegian skin:romanian skin:russian
option image : *image_url* : close ]
The image paramiter generates the actual visible button on your site. When a visitor or member of your blog clicks this image, the chat opens.
This image may be any image you wish to use as a connect button.
Enter the image location as a full url.
Do not enclose the image location in quotes.
CORRECT-> : image : http://evbid.com/images/chatnow.gif : close ]
WRONG-> : image : “../flower.png” : close ]

As of this update we now support Freenode and our Adult Server at Bondage Radio ONLY.

Absolutely, Wordpress added Captioning in v2.7
Simply surround the chat quicktag with the caption quicktag [_caption id="CSS-ID" align="aligncenter" width="100" caption="This is just a test."_] and [_/_caption_] (without the ‘_’)
You can adjust the css properties of CSS-ID to match your site, set the alignment, width and even the caption below the image.

The chat room code has been an issue mainly because of the way wordpress deals with forign language blogs.
The code is actually quite simple however.
If I want users to be able to click on an icon or picture - which is hosted at xyz.com/pict.jpg - to log into my room called “#Evbid_chat” - and use the default skin to match my blog, then:
I activate the plugin in my plugins menu, then
I create a post (or page) and type in the following line:
[livechat:Evbid_Chat:skin:default:image:http://xyz.com/pict.jpg:close]
When users navigate to that page (or post) they will see only the image.
You can tell people to click on the image in the text of the page (or post), or you can actually incorporate text in the image with your image editor, so that your users know to “Click Here”
That's it.
